Sample space
Consider a vase with #4# marbles in it, #2# red and #2# blue. A random experiment is performed where a single marble is blindly taken from the vase and placed on the table.
The point of interest is the color of the marble that was taken from the vase and the following notation is used to denote the outcomes of the experiment:
- #R# = 'the marble is red'
- #B# = 'the marble is blue'
What is the sample space of this random experiment?
